TAIL: normally the Bulldog Campeiro is born with shorter tail and pie; but, since some best-yet born with the long tail, which exceeds the height of the hock, this should be amputated.

Coat : smooth, medium texture (neither too soft nor too hard). Hair short. All colors are allowed. The predominance is the gold or brindle, solid or white. There have been all white Bulldogs Campeiro (not good for the deal in the sun). Never was seen a totally black.

SIZE : The ideal height is: 48 cm to 58 cm.

WEIGHT :. 35 kg to 45 kg approximately

FAULTS : Any departure from the foregoing points should be considered a fault and in exact proportion to its degree.

NOTES :

The Bulldog Campeiro is an extremely rustic dog that has no common health problems of the English Bulldog.
The English Bulldog and the Bulldog Campeiro are two races with distinct functions. The English have a wonderful appearance, is a companion dog and great for apartment. The Campeiro is a dog to guard and work.

NOTE :
Males should have two testicles of normal appearance fully descended into the scrotum.
Any dog clearly showing physical abnormalities or behavior should be disqualified.
